Running around with a medic on cp_prolane to see how that really works with the quickfix considering the medic can keep up with the scout. ------------------...

its actually a bad pair,at the start the medic runs at the speed of a
normal scout while the scout is slow, and then the scout runs fast and the
medic at the speed of a normal scout

  2. Quick-Fix is a much better medi-gun then stock if used right. Spawn. Latch
onto a demo, allowing him to sticky jump to the front lines with you
attached. Grab a scout, pop uber, run past everyone, hide. Then, sneak cap
the point while ubered, Also, now with the overheal it is amazing.

  3. The charge rate being really fast is quite an advantage, but the uber
itself could be made useless by a spy, a sniper, a crocket, a loch n load,
a sticky trap, or a level 3 sentry. Therefore it's still not as ideal as
the vanilla medigun when it comes to a push. If you're relying on ambushing
it might be useful, but using the kritskrieg is a better alternative for
that. I understand what you mean about leeching for speed though, that
    makes more sense.

  4. @Forest though I agree with you please notice that star isn't complaining
at all. He's pointing out his opinions and stats of the quick fix.

  5. I like using the quick-fix as a sort of field medic. It heals faster and I
can get to the battle in seconds. I can heal someone up crazy fast and
start healing the next person in no time. I generally keep 3/4 of my team
fully healed at any given point unless someone else charges in with an
uber. If there is no uber-medic on my team, I will probably fill that
    place, though.

Crossbow + Amputator + Quick fix = Mega healing

  7. The quick fix is good in situations where you are dying faster than you can
build up uber, because if you are not going to get uber anyway, you may as
well be healing people. That being said, the other two mediguns are better.

  8. You still have no uber, no kritz. You have no way to stop a rush or rush a
sentry. It would be like a normal medi-gun, but more specialized for
supporting normal use, not for short bursts of insane power.

No it's a legit medigun. I can heal my team much faster, and the uber is
almost as good. plus I can use it more often, and in situations when I die
quickly i wouldn't be able to use the conventional medigun.

  11. Honestly, quickfix is a nice combat medic medigun if you aren't going to be
healing people, because it allows you to do things like "slingshot" in off
    of scouts

  13. I agree with JGTDT because would you rather have o ubered heavy for 8
seconds or ten demomen, soldiers, and heavies?

Overdose, Vaccinator, Vitasaw :D That 20% uber on respawn = 1 free 2 second
    uber + 2% movement speed. :D

  15. The quick-fix should give the person you're healing a normal uber, but you
are left vulnerable with no uber.

  16. Yes, would you rather have one ubered heavy, or ten soldiers?

I think this weapon could use a slight change to its Ubercharge -- perhaps
a buff. Instead of a single Ubercharge that speeds up healing and provides
immunity to knockback, it could have four smaller Ubercharges, like the
Vaccinator, that each instantly heal the patient for a short time. I think
it would put more emphasis on the playing style of a Quick-Fix medic and
make the weapon more effective overall.

meant to say heal target reloads 40% faster, not dollars. Idk where that
    came from.

  22. Quick fix uber is very good in massive team fights. You can just tap your
team mate and they will probably instantly be at full health. I kept my
entire shitty team alive for 4 seconds with the quick fix on dustbowl. Then
they all died by a crit rocket.

  23. Since the QF builds up Uber really quickly, there should be some point and
its uber should be less sucky, otherwise there's no point in the fast uber
    buildup.

  24. You forgot to say that the quick-fix is like a rope to who you're healing.
for example if someone rocket/sticky jumps and you're healing him you'll
fly with him as if it's a rope between you
