Please install the Print and Scan Doctor. The Print and Scan Doctor will
stop the print spooler if there is an issue. I can provide a link to the
download in a private message if you would like.

Print spooling: Documents formatted for printing are stored usually into an
area on a disk and retrieved and printed by a printer at its own rate. I am
    an HP employee.

  14. dont need to restart

  15. What is the purpose of restarting the spooler if you are going to re-start
the computer anyway. That action alone would also take care of the spooler,
    surely.

Restarting your PC does not always reset the spooler. Doing this manually
will ensure that the spooler gets restarted. I am an HP employee.

  17. Restart?!?! Why bother restarting the spooler service? Possibly remove the
restart step as that isn't the purpose of this how-to.

This is a Microsoft/ Windows issue. To resolve this problem, obtain the
latest service pack for the Microsoft NET Framework 1.1. I am an HP
    employee.
