That would absolutely still leak. Water will enter in the keyway and have
ReplyDeleteno were to go except into the home. Extremely poor job.
Thank you for your video. Very informative.
ReplyDeleteWhat I'm gonna do is rip off the felt. Then either use some putty type
ReplyDeletesubstance to level the foam to the roof then buy a can or two of plasti dip
and spray overtop to make it look nice. or if your foam aint too miss
leveled just use plasti dip.

Works until you roll your windows down and the wind blows it back down.
ReplyDeleteSpray it, then staple the shit out of the part by the windows so air can't
find its way to ruin your life again.

ReplyDeleteHi Ruth! Thanks for watching. You can buy this at any auto shop like
ReplyDeleteAutozone, Advance Auto, Pep Boys, or Amazon.com.
what is the name of the shop to buy, please?
ReplyDeleteI sure am glad You Tube and folks like you to help folks like me save a LOT
ReplyDeleteof time and trouble trying to figure out how to fix stuff without messing
up. You gave excellent tips - Thanks!
Mars does his best work in the back seat of a car.
ReplyDeleteI am having the same problem with my 06 Jetta...over the weekend my roof
ReplyDeletestarted to sag. The sun here in VA with a car that is black with black
leather upholstery beats up a car as well
this will not work, save your 20 dollars and get it done at a shop
ReplyDeletewould last a week and when you want to get it fix the right way it leaves
ReplyDeleteit bumpy and looking like shit do it right replace the roof liner
Thanks Eddie...my '06 Camry upholstery and headliner are beginning to look
ReplyDeleteshabby. The rear speaker grills cooked away about 3 years ago. The sun down
here in South Louisiana beats up a car.
Cheers and thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteAnybody ever really tried to do this? Just spraying it without taking the
ReplyDeleteheadliner off? Hard to believe. Please let me know it anyone really had
success doing this. Thanks.
Are you wearing a dress shirt!!??? My man, you've got STYLE!
ReplyDeleteThanks, exactly what I was looking for.
ReplyDeletethats why he aint spray the damn headliner, he g'd up loooool
ReplyDeleteGood information, Eddie. Usually the foam decomposes and detaches from the
ReplyDeletematerial due to age and heat. Your temporary fix may add a few years to the
life of a headliner, but when it starts failing in one area, it will most
likely fail in other areas soon after.
Showing hw to do it wouldnt be a bad help..
ReplyDeleteif you live in a warm country, make sure you buy a high tempreture spray
ReplyDeleteadhesive, and if you do not do this, the hot tempreture will deactivate the
glue, and the headlliner will just fall back down, i personaly use brush on
tolene glue,
