true but to most people and i quote "THIS IS MADNESS"
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, forgot that you can cap while you uber.
ReplyDeleteSo it heals insanely fast, doesn't drain when you switch targets, has a
ReplyDeletefast uber build with an uber that heals almost instantly, has no knockback
when the uber is being deployed, allows the medic to move as fast as their
patient, allows the medic to rocket/sticky/flare jump with their patient,
and has some overheal. I always loved it. Wouldn't use it with other medics
though, no need since we have twice the healing already. This is for when
you're overwhelmed and need to keep your team afloat
I love the Quick Fix. I was trying to keep everyone healed on Hoodoo with
ReplyDeletethe default Medigun and it just did not work. A couple points about my
Quick Fix play: First, I NEVER hold onto the uber. It builds fast enough
and you can use it to push, but also for support. It can let your team keep
pressure on an enemy that's damaged if you pop it while your team is about
to fall back. Secondly, I use the Amputator with it. If the uber isn't
ready and you need massive healing, taunt once.
and somehow they still say Quick-Fix is bad.
ReplyDeleteOVERHEAL FOR QUICK-FIX, A GIFT FROM THE GODS!
ReplyDeleteHey, don't mock giving Kritz to a spy. Obviously they're not my #1 choice,
ReplyDeletebut I've done it in desperate moments, and if the spy is a good shot with
the revolver, it can be devastating.
I find that the quickfix is ideal for mini-pushes and complimenting other
ReplyDeletemediguns. It can be pretty good defensively if you don't use it like an
ubercharge.
I'm not sure if someone should use the Kritz "definitely" on Defense...
ReplyDeleteSure it works if your team works together so that you aren't being
outnumbered, but if everyone does their own thing, you and your pocket will
get out-matched. Besides, there have been too many moments when Blu pile on
the point and I pop the stock uber so my team can get from spawn to the
objective in time. ;-;
I used to hate the Quickfix purely because TF2 is a burst-damage game and
ReplyDeleteoverheal theoretically adds numbers to your team and allows your teammates
to have the advantage during 1v1 encounters. But now that we get a little
overheal, it's fantastic! I'd never use it on attack if we're facing
sentries though, but for KOTH or maps like 2Fort, it's one of the best. :D
That demo didn't make an eye contact nor use voice comms. Wouldn't have
ReplyDeletetrusted.
I like how it lets you heal scouts because it boosts your movement speed
ReplyDeletewhile healing them
I'm an agressive Medic too. It's insane how much and how quick you can heal
ReplyDeletewith this medigun. I'll definitely keep the Quick-Fix.
As Medic, I'm used to MediGun and Kritzkrieg. I've been a crits Medic for a
ReplyDeletelong time, but I crafted a Quick-Fix to test it and I found it got a lot of
benefits. It fits to my fast movements and I can Über Scouts. Made some
greats push with it. I think the Übercharge is great if you know how to
deploy it, in the right moment. Most of times I'm the only Medic and still
play with the Quick-Fix. Love it. Great video, Jerma!
I use quickfix+crusader's crossbow+amputator.
ReplyDeleteAn easy way to categorize the Quick-Fix is this: Medic is a support class.
ReplyDeleteBut a Quick-Fix Medic is the support class of Uber/Crit Medics. The job of
an Uber/Crit Medic are for major pushes (with a pocket power class), and
Quick-Fix Medic role then is to keep everyone else at full health. Although
you shouldn't use the Quick-Fix if you are the only Medic in the team, it
still not worth it. But with 2 Medic one of you can be Quick-Fix. Don't
save it Uber, just pop it whenever fighting someone.
OMG I JUST GOT A QUICK FIX TODAY THE SECOND I TRIED OUT A QUICK FIX FROM
ReplyDeleteMANN CO STORE OMG OMG OMG SO HAPPY
Someone else gets it the quick fix is also the best medigun for keeping you
ReplyDeletealive it charges every 30 seconds and if you need to be healed and or are
in a tight spot you can pop it and be at 188 health, also great for quickly
healing your team or saving people from a ton of damage, and its great at
taking out ungaurded sentries
The problem with the quickfix is: U are ubering someone, he thinks he cant
ReplyDeletedie (what is not the case), he dies and then he is pissed THE QUICKFIX IS
NOT A RAMBOMEDIGUN!!! It's a Support medigun
The quickfix is soo fucking awesome especially with the ubersaw, u got
ReplyDeleteubercharge everytime :D
Gibbus Engie be like: Alright, the control point is open, lets do this,
ReplyDeleteLEROY JAINKENS!
I use quick fix in mvm with 2 heavys they dominate everything
ReplyDeleteI use to be a F2P like you, but then...I got enough money to buy a weapon
ReplyDeleteand am now premium
needs to be redone, now it overheals
ReplyDeleteThis weapon is SO underrated. People hate this weapon because they don't
ReplyDeleteknow how to use it. It is a weapon for defense (red) not offense. The stock
is better for offense (blu)
Quick Fix: A present of the gods (Valve game developers), after you get
ReplyDeletethis, the Medic class will become your fav class. If you heal a faster
class than you, you walk as fast. Also, its a perfect combination when a
Demoman has a Sticky Bouncer and you need to get somewhere fast. Screw
invulnerability, faster healing and faster charging FTW.
This weapon is very-very offensive. :O
ReplyDeleteIT'S VINTAGE QUALITY!
ReplyDeleteSnipers make this one's über ineffective, but if you über a scout, he could
ReplyDeleteactually take out a sentry and you'll move fast enough to dodge most
snipers... Interesting the way it almost makes it comparable to standard
uber...
Let's test!
ReplyDeleteTHIS VIDEO IS OUTDATED!
ReplyDeletethat feel when your dragged by a rocket jumping soldier and you know when
ReplyDeleteyou land you'll die
Yup, which can be good, or can be a pain in the arse, depending on the
ReplyDeletesituation. If you've found one of those rare TF2 players, the "non-moron",
then it can be great, you can be first into the battle, snatching
intelligence from under the enemies noses, and devastating every foe you
meet. But if you're with 95% of TF2 players, AKA "morons", you will find
your head banging doorways and low ceilings as your target flies away, or
repeatedly taking fall damage and starting a round with 20hp.
so if a healed friendly sticky/rocket jumps you follow them automatically?
ReplyDeleteAfter all this time using this weapon, I didn't even know the Über gave you
ReplyDeleteimmunity to knockback and airblast !
the glory of the "quick-fix" is to be a faster healing and a faster moving
ReplyDeletemedic. but without the invincibility of a default medigun. the kritz gives
you offense, medigun give you defence. vac gives you utility, so the
quickfix give you the speed to heal the scouts without them having to hang
around you. lets you get more aggressive with your soldiers and demo's and
push dangerous terrain from THAT pyro who just airblasts you off of a cliff
Talk about buffing a weapon. It's still not as good as default but it
ReplyDeletedefinately deserved the change.
No he won't. Same thing with rocket jumps.
ReplyDeleteI...er...*head explodes*
ReplyDeleteI´ve been thinking. When a quick fix medic is healling a scout the medic
ReplyDeletebecomes as fast as the scout. But if there is a second quick fix medic that
is healing the first medic will he also go at scout speed?
PRAISE THE LORD AND HIS MIRACLES!
ReplyDeletewow i should use medic in jump_adventure map i can follow my rocketman
ReplyDeletewhen he is in mid-air
I remember the time when everyone complained that this was a bad weapon and
ReplyDeleteno one should use it.
I would say that it would throw it off.
ReplyDeleteFLYING POCKET MEDIC
ReplyDeleteBy far my favourite buff of the update. The overheal doesn't really matter
ReplyDeletemuch to me, what matters is that now when you pop uber you gain the healing
effect even if you have no patient. This way you can actually protect
yourself if your patient dies. That and most of my mates who I do pocket
are stupidly good at rocket jumping and now I'm able to keep up with them
AND have a good medigun.
Try dealing with soldiers who air strafe. You have no idea where they're
ReplyDeletetrying to go and it doesn't copy air strafing, meaning I've done it where
we've strafed in different directions and (obviously) lost connection,
meaning he either had to come pick me up or I have to retreat to a new
patient.
Don't remind them.
